Contact aims to create a community around photography both online and off. We run regular free events where photographers and photography lovers can meet and socialise, and learn more about new photographic work.

    Party! Curated simultaneous projections selected by Contact, showing new contemporary photography projects, alongside print sales, food, cocktails, music and dancing. This one is gonna be a biggy.

PAST events

  • Contact Crits

    After 18 months of bi-monthly crit sessions we’ve had reviewers from Magnum Photos, Millennium Images, Panos Pictures, The Telegraph, Autograph ABP and Firecracker. We have reviewed a huge number of portfolios and personal projects and seen some amazing new work. With the success of the ‘Vs’ events we are being forced to take a short break but will be back with more.

Competitions

Entering competitions is important throughout your life as a photographer, it’s nice to be rewarded in what can often feel a fairly solitary pursuit, and it’s great for your profile. All of our competitions are aimed at getting new work into a different arena.

Submissions. We want to see your work!

Next deadline for submissions: 31st January 2012
Contact is taking submissions from photographers. We want the work we showcase to remain fresh and exciting, so we are constantly looking for new contributors; whether student, graduate, emerging or established. We will review submissions once every 6 months to select the very best new work. Get in contact.
